Apply for Transportation (STAR Catholic Students)
Transportation Application and Payment Instructions
• Transportation is only provided for rural STAR Catholic students who live within the Leduc attendance boundary
• If you need busing within the City of Leduc or to/from/within The City of Beaumont, contact the STAR Catholic Transportation Department at 780-986-2500
• Eligible students must register directly with Black Gold Schools Transportation
• Registration is required each school year
Transportation available for:
• Grade 7–8 students attending Father Leduc Catholic School
• Grades K–6 students attending École Notre Dame School
🚫 Transportation is not available for Grades K–6 students attending Father Leduc Catholic School
Fees:
• Fees are based on boundary areas — email transportation@blackgold.ca if you’re unsure of your child’s eligibility.
• Once your child’s pass has been printed, we will contact you. You can then visit our office to pay and collect the pass(es).
All fees must be paid in full before your child can access the bus.

After You Submit Your Transportation Application:
Next Steps:
- Create and log into your Bus Planner Parent Portal.
- Add your child using their student ID. If you do not have their student ID, please email transportation@blackgold.ca to request it
- Check Bus Planner regularly for pick-up and drop-off information
- Download the Bus Status 4 app
- Star your child’s bus in the app and turn on notifications for real-time updates
🚨 Reminder:
- Parents/guardians will not receive notifications when busing is assigned
- It is your responsibility to check the Bus Planner for updates
- All applications are subject to approval by the Transportation Department
- You will be emailed when bus passes are ready for pick-up and payment
⭐️ Special Instructions for STAR Catholic Families
- Fees must be paid in person and in full before bus passes will be issued.
(Students will not be permitted to ride the bus until payment is received and their passes have been picked up.) - Email us at transportation@blackgold.ca to confirm your bus passes are ready before coming in.
- Once confirmed, visit our Nisku office to pay transportation fees and collect your passes.
